八仙樂園遭勒令停業，不少員工暫時沒工作，更擔心薪水沒著落。勞動部昨表示，八仙樂園停業期間，員工無法上班，因屬可歸責於雇主的責任，停工期間的工資雇主仍要照給，若違反規定，依法可開罰2萬至30萬元。

新北市政府勞工局長謝政達表示，初步掌握八仙樂園的正職員工有63名，薪水會在7月3日正常發放。

另外，勞動部提到，八仙樂園或派對主辦單位員工若在此事件受傷，應認定為職業災害，業者應依法給予工傷病假，並給與醫療及工資等補償；勞保部分，則將依職業災害相關給付規定保障，勞工權益問題可撥勞動部免付費電話0800-085-151。
